Chris Morris was born in Cornwall on Christmas Eve 1963, and was brought up in the area, playing football for England Schools.Although, like most lads he harboured ambitions to play professionally , he did not expect it to happen: " I was six weeks away from starting a PE teacher training course when I was invited to have a trial with Sheffield Wednesday.
